FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FUTURE IMAGE AND I3A ANNOUNCE THIRD MObile Imaging Summit
Executive Conference to focus on profit opportunities in Infrastructure,
Devices, Services, Media and Content.
SAN
MATEO, Calif. – August 12, 2004 -- Future Image Inc, the leading independent
center of expertise on the convergence of imaging, information technology, and
telecommunications, and I3A (International Imaging Industry Association), the
leading global association for the imaging industry, announced today their third
Mobile Imaging Summit, to be held in Monterey, California, on October 28-29,
2004. The theme of the event is Profiting in the Camera-Phone Ecosystem –
North America.
Sponsors to date include Agfa, Digimarc, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, LightSurf,
Motorola, Nokia, PixelMagic, Silverwire and Sprint.
The Mobile Imaging Summit conferences have the
unique distinction of drawing senior executives from all three industries whose
convergence is shaping the global camera-phone phenomenon -- imaging,
telecommunications, and information technology – making the Summit “a unique
melting pot for the new Mobile Imaging industries (Holger May, Agfa).” The
outstanding success of the two previous Summits, held in Monterey in November,
2003 and Amsterdam in June, 2004, has established the event as the indispensable
venue for companies interested in dynamic business opportunities -- in
infrastructure, devices, media and content – that are stemming from the
explosive growth of camera-phone sales. Attendance is by invitation only,
limited to 130 senior executives (CEO, CTO, CMO, VP, Director and GM) in order
to maintain the higher echelon networking and interactive environment that is so
valued by attendees.
